Bridging the Gap

I started as an Ayurvedic practitioner giving people advice on how to live healthier and happier. Over time, I realized giving information and talking about issues do not necessarily lead to healthier people feeling more fulfilled.

How we perceive, interpret, retain and apply information depends on our level of awareness, receptivity and maturity. Think of it as taking in different nuggets when we read the same book at different stages of our lives.

Many of us often approach wellness or personal development in an “a la carte” fashion.

We read books, seek help from experts, and take courses. For some of us, we find ourselves caught in a cycle of things getting better followed by new dramas. As a result, it feels like we barely move the needle.

In the “a la carte” approach, we see doctors and healers for health concerns, consult financial experts on money issues, talk to therapists about relationship turmoil, and might have spiritual practice to find peace.

When we don’t see a common denominator in all our experiences, we narrow our focus to solving problems or getting through the day. We overlook how life events are deliberately moving us in a certain direction.

When we are able to connect the dots, we can effectively address a variety of challenges altogether. Life becomes less overwhelming and exhausting.

When we adopt the “a la carte” approach in healing, we focus on resolving the pain and get a set of results. But when we focus on healing our relationships with pain, we uncover our superpowers unbeknownst to us.

When clients work with me over a period of time, they want to relieve pain and realize their full potential. I hold them in ways so that they can increase their awareness for instrumental changes to occur in between sessions.

Transformation shifts us from a lower to higher vibrational frequency. I hold my clients like nurturing young sprouts. They need an energetic nursery with stability and nourishment before they flourish as mature plants.

A single mother was moved to tears as we reflected on her progress. She had felt very alone, and her financial situation wasn’t great. She loved her work, but she didn’t feel heard. The doctor also found lumps in her body.

Within the 3 months that we worked together, the doctor gave her a clean bill of health. She received fund that was long overdue from a settlement. She has made new friends who care about her. She feels more confident and is dating again. Her boss is seeing her in positive light for the first time in years!

Aside from our sessions together, holding her while strengthening her Divine connection daily is critical. It amplifies her soul’s voice so that she can make choices that align with what is best for her.

Strengthening her Divine connection also helps the high frequency vibration to be established in her system. As a result, she can draw in more circumstances and people that support her healing and fulfillment of desires.

Holding someone is different from checking in with friends, offering advice, or praying for someone in need. It requires us to be present with the immediate concerns while being unwavering in holding a higher vision for them.

We often pray and support those in need, hoping that their challenges will be resolved sooner rather than later. To me, hope has an element of leaving it up to chance.

When I hold someone, I anchor into a deep trust that everything unfolds in alignment with their soul path. While I would love to see their pain and suffering go away, I offer their situation to the Divine. I don’t stew on their struggles.

Sometimes clients need to go through an uncomfortable purging process before they get better. When I stand firm in their connection with the Divine, the process moves through them more swiftly and gracefully.

In my work, I see myself as the “glue” helping clients put pieces together so that they can experience their wholeness. When they feel whole, they feel safe, they soften and relax. All that is conducive to healing and manifestation of desires.

When we feel whole, we don’t strive for more money, certifications, exotic adventures, prestige, accomplishments, etc. because we feel we are enough and we know we have enough.

We can enjoy these wonderful blessings because they delight us. We don’t chase after them to fill a void or distract us from something unpleasant.

Being able to feel whole no matter what happens comes from self-love. The unconditional love frequency can heal and transform situations for the better. When we live from our wholeness, those around us transform in amazing ways.

I can easily think of cases where clients have asked me to help their children. I usually suggest that I will work with them directly and bring their children in energetically. With this approach, the parents benefit from the healing, and the issues the children have are resolved without me interacting with them.

Luminaries from different traditions have taught the importance of looking within. What we see out there is a reflection of an aspect of ourselves.

When someone or something out there bothers us, we must take responsibility to resolve the energetic discords within us. When we do that, we shift into a new reality and those around us will shift accordingly.

Problems are catalysts for us to make the long overdue changes necessary to live in alignment with our heart and soul. What if there are no problems to solve but only opportunities to develop a greater version of ourselves?
